John Witchel is a serial entrepreneur with a history of building pioneering companies in finance, technology, and energy. He co-founded Prosper Marketplace, the nation’s first peer-to-peer lending platform, and launched GitPrime, acquired by Pluralsight, where he served as President. John earned his B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University and his M.S. in Computer Science from the University of San Francisco. A former NCAA champion swimmer, John still enjoys training and time outdoors with his family.

Chief Revenue Officer & Co-Founder

Brian Clausen has a proven track record of building scalable sales and marketing teams for rapidly growing companies, having led multiple businesses through at least a 10x increase in top-line revenue. Brian has held go-to-market leadership roles at Pluralsight, Kibo Commerce, GitPrime and Web Associates and was the CEO of Experts Exchange and the President of Shopatron. Brian earned his bachelors and masters degrees from Stanford University and enjoys running, visiting his three kids, and serving as a trustee on the San Luis Coastal Unified school board.

J.P. Whelan has three decades of experience in growth company finance, spanning financial operations, investment, and transaction advisory work. He founded and led a SaaS growth investment firm with successful exits including UserTesting, InvestCloud, Shopatron, and Discovia. Earlier in his career, he advised on M&A at JP Morgan and was part of the founding team at Prosper Marketplace. J.P. holds a bachelors and masters degree. from Stanford University and a J.D. from the University of Chicago. He enjoys woodworking, music, and time with his three children.

Chief Operations Officer

Brian Roufa is a seasoned executive with deep expertise spanning operations, product, services, marketing, and sales, with a particular focus on renewable energy and enterprise software. He has held leadership roles scaling global business networks and driving revenue growth at companies including Ariba, Traiana, ICIX, and in partnerships with Salesforce, Bloomberg, and American Express. Brian lives in Orinda, California, and holds a bachelors degree in economics from Stanford University, where he and his wife spend much of their free time cheering on their two kids in sports.

Chief Accounting Officer

Michelle Tomas is a corporate accounting leader with extensive experience guiding financial operations, audit, and tax management across complex investment entities. She spent nearly a decade at SolarCity and Tesla, where she directed the Fund Accounting team responsible for more than $1 billion in solar assets. Michelle earned recognition for advancing scalable accounting systems, compliance frameworks, and process improvements that strengthened financial reporting and internal controls. She holds a degree in Accounting Science from the University of South Africa and degrees in Accounting Information Science and Applied Science from Goldey-Beacom College.

Chief Commercial Officer

Rob Porter is an entrepreneur and innovator with more than 20 years of experience in strategic partnerships and technology development. In addition to founding multiple successful business ventures, he spent nearly two decades at United Airlines leading partnership initiatives and managing enterprise account relationships. . Rob earned dual bachelors degrees in Product Design and Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and enjoys golf, camping, and outdoor adventures with his family.
